FAQs about Hen Party Venues in Sydney

How much does it cost to rent a hen party venue in Sydney?

It mainly depends on the venue type you will choose. But generally, expect costs to start around $45 to $125 per person in spaces like restaurants and bars. Minimum spend fees range between $500 to $1500+. As for dry hire, expect prices at around $125  to $1000 per day.  But don’t hesitate to ask venue managers for individual offers, as well as discounts. Also, be aware that some venues slash their rates off-peak times, so it’s worth checking out the low season at your chosen venue. (All data from Tagvenue.com.)

What are the best locations in Sydney to have a hen party?

The ultimate hot spots for hen parties in Sydney are definitely Barangaroo, The Rocks and Wynyard! These areas are vibrant, trendy and famous for their wide range of fantastic and versatile venue options. The bars and restaurants are packed with young people who want to have fun and party like there’s no tomorrow. Also, the architecture in these neighbourhoods will add a nice aesthetic touch to the event.

How early should I book a hen party venue?

You should book a hen party venue at least 2 months in advance. This will allow you to find the venues that you like, compare their offers and pick the winner. Also, you’ll be able to plan all the party details from scratch and act fast in case of unexpected surprises.

Who pays for a hen party?

Usually, it’s the bride’s bridesmaids and other guests who will be present at the party who sponsor the event. But it’s not uncommon for the bride to chip in, or pay for the event on her own if that’s what she’d like to do. Discuss this matter with the bride, to avoid any unnecessary setbacks.

We had a great time! We recently had a small hens party (15 people). The venue was amazing, super cute, quiet and private. The venue was equipped with everything we needed including cutlery, glassware, two toilets, seating, tv, speakers and a heater. We arrived early to decorate and the space looked absolutely beautiful after! Laura was so easy to contact and would respond to my messages within an hour of sending them. Stefan was who met us at the venue to open up and lock up was so helpful and nice. All the girls said this was the best hens party they’d ever been to and the space was perfect for it !! I would definitely recommend this space to my friends !!!
