About this space
FAUX blends a vibrant and elegant gallery space with a wine and cocktail bar. Newly opened in August 2024, it aims to serve as a hub for art events and local meeting place in the heart of Brunswick East. Between art events, FAUX operates as a neighbourhood drinks spot open Wednesday to Sunday.
The gallery exhibits an evolving showcase of contemporary art by both established and emerging Australasian artists. Our wine list features offerings from local winemakers, and the seasonal cocktail menu features a rotating list of classic drinks.
FAUX is contemporary venue with beautiful handcrafted fit-out featuring warm timber furnishings and soft lighting. The space is light and airy, with abundant floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the room with warm natural light. The venue can accommodate approximately 75 standing guests. Whether hosting art events, summer afternoon canapés, or festive season cocktail parties, FAUX provides a truly unique experience. Come check us out!

- Currently no alcohol is allowed outside the space. No drinking on the sidewalk. Smoking outside is fine
