About this space

Located on the ground floor, the Edmund Rice is the largest space in the centre. Whether you’re after a large conference or a private seminar, this room can accommodate groups of up to 200 people.

With plenty of natural light flowing in from its own private courtyard, this north-facing room fills with sunlight. There is also a split system air-conditioning to keep you feeling comfortable year-round.

The AV has a data projector with both HMDI and VGA connections and a screen. There is also a fully integrated sound system with handheld and lapel microphones.

Our helpful staff will help you connect to our NBN wireless internet, as well as set the room up for organizers and attendees. Catering and AV equipment hire is available upon request.

Catering and dietary requirements are to be forwarded to the Venue no later than 10 days prior to your event taking place. Most dietary requirements can be catered.

Buffet Style Menu:
- Option 1 - Soup and buffet - $50 per person

Cocktail Party Menu:
- Your selection of 8 of the Canapés to be served for 2 hours throughout the event - from $36 per person
- A selection of high-quality beverages are available as part of your meal (other premium beer and wines are available on request)
- A Bar set-up fee of $55 applies to all functions requiring beverage service
- Additional charges apply when Bar staff are required outside of normal business hours (after 5.00 PM)

Host rules

- The Hirer must comply with the reasonable directions of Treacy Centre staff, Treacy Centre policies and procedures; posted emergency evacuation signage, and any laws.

- A deposit of approximately 40% of all items quoted for your event along with a signed copy of the terms and conditions is required to confirm all bookings.

- The Hirer will be liable for any damage to the Venue fittings and/or fixtures if caused by the hirer. Should damage result in loss of business the Hirer will be liable for all costs incurred by the Venue including repairing of damage and loss of revenue by the Venue.

- No open flame, except for reasonable candles or tea lights, shall be used in or on any part of the Venue including the grounds. No polytechnic devices of any kind are permitted.

- Pets are not permitted on or in the venue at any time. Assistance animals and Guide Dogs will be permitted.

- Treacy Centre is a smoke-free environment. Smoking is not permitted in any building or grounds.

- Treacy Centre accepts no responsibility for any theft, loss or damage sustained to personal property whilst you, your guest or invitees are on the premises.
