About this space
The Motley private function space is a beautiful warm exposed brick lined space with inviting timber and brass finishings. This versatile space on the 1st floor of our weird and wonderful art venue is perfect for all your celebratory and performance needs. It's an open setup and comes with its own dedicated bar that serves our full range. We offer an extensive cocktail list, O'Brien's beer on tap, and quality spirits and wines.
It also has a small stage perfect for bringing your own entertainment such as DJs, musicians, dancers, or even for birthday speeches. It's already set up with full AV including LEDs, speakers, mics, projector, mixers and cables; just plug and play.
Seats up to 60 people with a front on seating arrangement, 40 with two rows of tables and some end on seating for a reduced capacity, 100 – 150 standing.
The perfect space for private functions e.g. work/birthday parties, trivia nights, ceremonies of any kind, engagement parties, live music etc.

The Motley Bauhaus is the perfect location for your next party or function.
We are a multi-disciplinary arts venue with a variety of different spaces available for booking and are licensed for up to 350 people.
