Perched on the top floor of the Russian House, Emerald Hall is the brightest space of the venue. While it is most suited for photoshoots, classes, workshops and music events, we are always willing to adapt and accommodate any event type.
The space is equipped with a kitchenette and features polished timber floors, high ceilings, large windows and intricate chandeliers which create an enchanting play of natural sunlight and a captivating atmosphere. 12 trestle tables and 80 chairs available upon request. Full audio, light and stage set up available for hire at an extra charge. Portable whiteboard, TV, and a projector are complimentary and ideal for corporate and business events.

Host rules
No birthday parties in the 16-21 age bracket.
No smoking in the building.
No congregating outside the front past 11pm.
The courtyard must be cleared at 11pm.
Strict music cut off time due to the venue being located in a residential area. 10pm on weekdays and Sundays, 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
All information submitted by the hirer (ie purpose of the event, number of attendees) must be true and up to date. In the event where the hirer has submitted false or misleading information, The Russian House reserves the right to cancel the booking and no refund will be made to the hirer.

The Russian House is a sought-after location that can accommodate up to 300 guests across both floors. Getting to our venue is a breeze, thanks to its proximity to public transport. Tram routes 86 and 11, only 10-15 minutes from Melbourne's CBD, and buses 200, 202, and 207, make it easily accessible for your guests.
