New Guernica, located in the Yalla-birr-ang area of the Wurundjeri people, is housed in the 1868 Forester’s Hall Building, originally home to the Ancient Order of Foresters. Since its transformation in 2021, this historical venue on Smith Street, Collingwood, has become a popular nightclub. It also hosts a variety of unique events such as wrap parties, product launches, and private gatherings. With two impressive spaces, extensive audio-visual equipment, fully staffed bars, and historical decor, New Guernica is ideal for your special events.
The Main Room at New Guernica is a flexible and multi-purpose space within the historic building, equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual facilities. This space is suitable for various functions, including event launches, wrap parties, and even commercial film sets. It features a large floor area, a fully staffed and licensed bar, top-notch sound equipment, and a selection of DJ equipment. The Pro Standard lighting setup includes moving heads, washlights, strobes, and more. Additionally, an extra-large LED screen enhances the visual effects.
