About this space
Studio B is a 5.4x4.1m space with wooden floorboards, and is a better choice for controlling ambient light. The space is perfect for smaller shoots such as headshots and still life. This studio comes with a large variety of photographic gear, including:
- White, black or grey paper backdrops*
- 2.4m scrim
- C-stands (with booms)
- Lightstands
- Polyboards
- Shotbags
*Backdrops included with hire if only used as backgrounds. A $60 replenishment is charged for backdrops which are stood on.
We also have a lighting kit available to hire for as an optional extra. The is $20/hour, and includes:
- 3 x Godox AD600Pro’s with batteries and triggers
- 2 x Godox wallpacks
- 120cm octobox with grid
- 90cm octobox with grid
- 2 x 140 stripboxes with grids
- 53cm beauty dish
- Background reflector
- Coloured gels

About Kindred Cameras Photo Studio
Kindred Cameras is a multi-use creative space, including photography studios, a gallery, and a co-working room.
Our aim is to give creative image makers an affordable and accessible workspace to help them grow their practices. While the space has a focus on photography, we are enthusiastic about all artistic mediums, and encourage exhibitions and workshops from all art forms and genres.
Along with our creative spaces, Kindred Cameras also has a shared 'green room', with toilets, a kitchen, lounge area, change room and hair and makeup station.
