About this space

Our intimate Winston Room was the hotel’s original dining room in the late 19th century.

Featuring tall, elegant windows that flood the room with natural light, it is a beautiful, romantic setting for bridal showers, small weddings, private dining parties & meetings of up to 30 guests seated over 3 banquet tables or 24 guests seated on one long dining table.

The Windsor is a 5-star grand heritage hotel located in the heart of Melbourne, overlooking Parliament House and picturesque Spring Street.

The stunning historic property is the perfect backdrop for weddings, galas, balls and meetings, with a setting that will awe your guests. Built in a Victorian style in 1883, we have served as the backdrop for films, celebrities and royalty, with our heritage-listed Grand Ballroom being one of Melbourne's treasures.
