About this space

The Purple Emerald is a quirky and popular cocktail bar decked out with retro comfy couches, lots of vintage lamps and a great atmosphere your guests will love.

Extremely versatile, the various spaces are suitable for a number of different event types and sizes, with a total venue capacity of 150 people. The main room can accommodate small or large groups, exclusive use and reservations.

Music is a big part of our atmosphere and we always have cool tunes playing. It’s never too loud for a conversation either. Exclusive use allows for your own DJ, a Spotify playlist or enjoy our tunes carefully selected to suit the mood of your event.

Delicious finger foods, amazing cocktails, tap beers and an impressive range of spirits and beverages from all parts of the world. Catering options provide dietary requirements, GF, Vegan and Vegetarian finger foods, prepared on site.

Experienced, easy going and friendly service is what you will receive from our team. We have been in operation for over 25 years, and have received awards for our cocktails, food and service.

This was an amazing venue that had everything to create the exact vibe I wanted for my party!! The decor, the furniture, the lighting, the space, the bar, the staff, the dance floor, and the owner. Phil is fantastic - he has so much experience and knows exactly what he is doing, yet he is so personable, flexible, relaxed and reassuring he feels like an old friend. The in-house catering was excellent, the staff were friendly, the drinks were delicious… rave reviews from all the guests. So happy that I found this place for my XOth birthday event.
