About Krimper
Krimper is an unusual cafe on Melbourne's Guildford Lane, where design and history come together to create a warm, rustic atmosphere. Set in an old warehouse, the interior embraces its industrial past with water-blasted brickwork, Japanese-stained plywood and reclaimed materials.
They've used recycled lift doors and wood for the chairs and tables, and they've turned a 100-year-old discarded lift car into a really cool dining booth. The décor is deliberately 'unfinished' and the soft lighting and warm textures create a space that's unique and welcoming, and celebrates the beauty in imperfection.
