Entire Venue at Garbin Estate Wines
About this space
Garbin Estate Wines envelops visitors in a space where the legacy of winemaking is palpable in every detail. The interior is a harmonious blend of industrial design and vinous tradition, with the high, corrugated metal ceilings giving a sense of openness above, while the solidity of concrete floors grounds the space. The walls, bearing a patina of age, showcase large canvases that depict the sun-dappled vineyards, offering guests a visual journey through the estates where the wines begin their story.
The heart of the venue is its tasting area, where wooden barrel tables and high stools invite casual conversation and leisurely wine sampling. A Chesterfield sofa, rich in hue and heritage, beckons for a more relaxed experience, allowing for contemplation or a shared moment over a glass of their signature vintage. Each lighting fixture is carefully chosen to accentuate the rich, earthy tones of the wine bottles lined meticulously on custom wooden shelving, creating an ambiance that is both warm and inviting.
This space is thoughtfully designed to engage all senses, from the visual appeal of its rustic-modern decor to the gentle hum of patrons' interactions, which fills the air but never overwhelms. The outdoor view through the open doorways frames the natural beauty of the surrounding region, inviting guests to step out and explore after their palates have been pleased.

About Garbin Estate Wines
Welcome to the cozy enclave of Garbin Estate Wines, nestled in the heart of Middle Swan's lush landscapes. The estate exudes a rustic charm, underscored by its low-key yet inviting cellar door that opens to a spacious outdoor area where the sun casts a warm glow on leisurely wine tastings. The architectural design harmonizes the valley's natural beauty with intimate spaces for visitors to explore the rich tapestry of premium, boutique wines and fortified classics that pay homage to the Swan Valley's storied winemaking tradition.
The family-owned wineries of the Swan Valley often include a fascinating history and personal flavor, and Garbin is no exception. Winemaker Peter Garbin (son of founder Duje & Matija Garbin), his wife Katrina, and sons Joel and Adam have a philosophy of hands-on premium winemaking and personal service.
Their wines include award-winning premium boutique red and white wines and rich, traditional fortified styles for which the Swan Valley is well renowned, some of which are only available at the cellar door. Their specialty is bottle-fermented traditional method sparkling styles made from chardonnay and, more unusually, Semillon, Chenin blanc, shiraz, and Merlot. The fruit is sourced from estate vineyards in Gingin and the Swan Valley and grown with low chemical inputs and no pesticides.
The convenience of a large, free parking lot ensures every visit is as stress-free as the sips of their meticulously crafted wines.
