The spectacular chandeliers and classic 1960’s mirrored ceiling inside the Wentworth Ballroom are well-recognised and popular features of the hotel. Accommodating up to 750 people in cocktail stand-up function, the completely pillarless ballroom is one of the largest in Sydney and equipped with advanced audio-visual facilities delivered by Sofitel Wentworth’s in-house audio-visual team.

The 3rd floor of Sofitel Sydney Wentworth is completely dedicated to events and features a large foyer area that is suitable for use as exhibition space as well as session breakouts or pre-function gatherings. Ideal for weddings and company events, the magnificent Wentworth Ballroom is 629m² in total and can also be split into three sections: Perth Room, Melbourne Room and Sydney Room. Each of these sections can hold up to 198 to 229 people in a theatre-style set up.
