Located on Level 1 and spanning two levels, the Grand Lodge is a unique and impressive tiered theatre seating up to 600 delegates. Boasting stylish architectural timber acoustic panelling and high-speed internet connectivity of up to 1000 mbps up and down it is ideal as your conference plenary.

Grand Lodge is also conveniently situated adjacent to the Banquet Hall which can be used for your exhibition and catering. For events with multiple concurrent sessions, SMC has an additional 10 flexible spaces to accommodate all your breakout and workshop requirements.

The installation of new Panasonic 12,000 lumen data projectors deliver crystal clarity, brightness and resolution that is ideal for video and film screenings as well as highlighting the granular detail in speakers’ presentations.

A newly installed intelligent architectural lighting system allows for lights to be easily and precisely programmed for different functions. Perimeter RGB shadow lighting allows for different colour combinations and mood lighting states. House lighting throughout has been upgraded to second generation LEDs for improved light output and energy efficiency.
