Niche bar was a great spot for us to use as a venue for our get-together! We appreciated that the venue hire fee was the minimum spend on food, instead of an additional fee, and the amount was reasonable. We had plenty of space for our group between the patio and indoor space and the bar was conveniently close to our tables. The food came out on time as we requested and the staff was accommodating for our needs (i.e. surprise cake). We liked that it felt like a private venue for most of the night since it was not jam-packed at any point. Thank you for accommodating us and allowing us to host at your bar!
The bar itself was almost a little too quiet, even after 9pm when the DJ began; while people still danced and enjoyed the night the bar could benefit from more "dance lights" near and around the DJ to make it feel more alive and "club like." It was very dark and hard to even notice that there was a DJ. Other than that, we just expected there to be more people by 9-10pm to have the environment switch more into a club vibe but it still felt very private by that time. It isn't something that can necessarily be controlled but just a note that we were shocked by how quiet it was most of the night.
