Everything was perfect, staff are so attentive and friendly. Shae is always there to help with any enquiries we had at the time, before, during and after the event. Couldn't ask for a better place to have our special day.

Atmosphere was beautiful, location was ideal to access public transport. Photo booth was a crowd favourite. Staff Emma and David were great hosts.

Menu amendments- options vs availability less than week then the night of. Increase per platter a week prior to confirmation and was too late to cancel.

The team at the blacksmith bar are incredible. It was so easy to book and prepare and they made me feel like everything was easy at literally every turn. George the event manager and the team were amazing on the night and made me feel like an absolute king on my birthday. Will absolutely be back again.

About The Blacksmith Bar

The Blacksmith opened its doors in September 2019 and is the newest venue to join the Pratt Hospitality Group. Located in the Swan Street entertainment precinct, the original structure dates back to 1924, as McNaughton’s Ironmongers which can still be seen on the existing façade. Everything from the name of the venue, the quirky antique-style décor, the cocktail menu, and even the staff uniforms play on the history of the structure.

The venue has a large focus on quality ingredients to create only the best cocktails, and the cocktail menu is designed to be uncomplicated and simplistic; a paired backlist, paying homage to the old classics.

The entire venue is available for private functions any night of the week, for up to 100 people. The venue will be yours exclusively until 11.30 pm, at which time we will open to the general public.
