How to start the self-registration process

First things first — you need to create an account on the Tagvenue website

Next up, you can start to create a draft of your listing immediately. Make sure you have all the necessary information handy, such as: 

  • Hours of operation
  • High-quality photos of the venue
  • Clear and straightforward pricing and options
  • Functions and events you can and are willing to host 
  • Prominent contact information for one single point of contact, preferably the venue manager for the venue 
  • Amenities information and capacity, such as catering options and allowance, speaker system setup, beverage set up and allowance, and more

After you have your venue page all set, make sure you include any extra spaces you have inside your venue, if it has multiple options such as a rooftop, main dining area, private cellar, studio or photo space, etc. 

Once you have your space set up and verified by us, you can edit your venue page, add spaces to your venue, and more, all through the user-friendly venue dashboard. 

Our Tried-and-True Process to Verify Your Venue 

Once you’ve registered and created the draft of your venue page and profile, our hands-on team of real-live people get to work to verify everything. In a nutshell, the process goes like this: 

  • We verify your registration and venue as a legit business, and to ensure it is appropriate for our platform
  • Once you’ve passed the verification stage, we review your profile thoroughly to make sure it’s as attractive as possible and optimized to garner inquiries, and bookings, of course

Getting your venue verified by us takes approximately 24 hours or less — but feel free to start creating your profile right away! This will help everything go smoothly and efficiently. 

And should you need to, after your profile goes live you can edit your venue page and make any updates you need, all through the user-friendly venue dashboard. 

After registration

Once you’ve registered your venue space, it will go through a thorough verification and review process to make sure everything is legit, and included. This could include: 

  • Email correspondence 
  • A live phone call
  • Videos and photos to demonstrate and prove that the space is accurate as you’ve listed and described it 
  • Verifying the data and information on the page, such as pricing, address, point of contact 
  • Testing everything to make sure it’s good to go

We charge a flat commission only when the booking was confirmed and the event took place:

  • 10% for invoice-based Event Categories (Dining, Bar, Restaurant etc) in the US, Canada, and Singapore 
  • 12.5% for invoice-based Event Categories (Dining, Bar, Restaurant etc) in the UK, Ireland, and Australia
  • 15% for Categories with mandatory Online Payments enabled, such as Meetings, Production and Dry Hire space

There are no additional charges or listing fees, ever. For example, if the booking subtotal is $100 for an Event, $10 would be paid to Tagvenue. If this is a Meeting/Production booking, $15 would be paid out to Tagvenue.
