Fantastic cocktails and snacks at The Bloomsbury Club. Love this bar. Location is so accessible and yet feels like a secret hideaway. The drinks, service and food were all impeccable. Loved the cocktail menu concept and especially the KA cocktail with the Lost Explorer Mezcal – delicious.

This stylish cocktail bar beneath the four-star Bloomsbury Hotel pays homage to the illustrious Bloomsbury group. With 1920s glamour, dark mahogany tones, and quaint antiques, it brings an American saloon vibe to mind. Their Dalloway Terrace is a private hideaway with monochromatic tiles, fairy lights, and cosy leather booths – perfect for intimate dinners, lively gatherings, and spirited debates. The bar also features live music on weekends and charming details like tarot card menus.
The cocktail menu mixes forgotten classics and innovative creations inspired by the Bloomsbury club’s fascination with Ancient Egypt. Each cocktail is named after a Bloomsbury group member, and guests use a fun pyramid and pendulum to guide their drink choices. Bartenders revive Golden Age recipes, crafting drinks like the Duncan Grant, a smooth blend of 12-year-old Chivas Regal and Luxardo Maraschino, and the First Word, a mix of Bullet Rye whiskey, Yellow Chartreuse, and Lemon. Complementing these cocktails are delectable small plates, such as the salt and pepper squid with a teriyaki dip.

The Stag’s Head, a quaint East London pub, preserves its 1930s charm with original features and a slightly drab yet authentic decor. Hosting events like hog roasts and live bands, it caters to a mix of older locals and younger crowds, blending old-school vibes with modern entertainment.
Being a listed building, this place is often chosen as a shooting location for famous movies. Among them are Legend with Tom Hardy and My Policeman with Harry Styles. Its historic significance as part of 1930s London and appearances in famous movies add to its appeal, making it a must-visit spot for architecture and heritage enthusiasts.
The pub offers a simple beer selection and reasonably priced fare, including dishes like Hungarian Goulash and Beef. The food menu is American-influenced, using local suppliers and British produce where possible. The food is reasonably priced, especially for the area, all the main courses are between £9-£13, and there’s nowhere in the area where you would get such a delicious meal for so cheap!!!

Didn’t have food, but we had a couple of drinks. Bartenders were attentive, as expected, and had good vibes, honestly. DJ played good tunes, Jack from Kent and the boy Josh were always helpful. And this one employee who said he’s from Stratford was so nice, he works at the counter. Honestly 10/10 experience, If you want a GOOD activity in London, this is the one.
