Venue Rental Policies & Guidelines

1. Booking & Payment
Reservations must be made in advance and are subject to availability.
A deposit may be required to confirm the booking.
Full payment must be made before the rental period begins.
Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the cancellation policy.

2. Compliance
Renters must adhere to all venue policies and local regulations.
Failure to comply may result in immediate termination of the rental without a refund.

3. Venue Usage
The rental covers only the venue; equipment rentals are charged separately.
Guests must adhere to the agreed-upon rental hours. Overtime charges may apply for exceeding the booked time.
The venue must be used responsibly, and any activities must comply with local laws and regulations.

4. Cleaning & Damage
A cleaning fee is charged per session.
Renters must leave the venue in the same condition as it was received.
The renter is responsible for any damage to the venue or its property, and additional charges may apply for repairs or replacements.

5. Capacity & Safety
The maximum occupancy limit must be followed for safety reasons.
Smoking, open flames, or hazardous materials are strictly prohibited.
The renter is responsible for ensuring the safety and behavior of their guests.

6. Noise & Disturbance
Loud music and noise should be kept at a reasonable level, respecting neighbors and other tenants.
The venue reserves the right to end the rental without a refund if excessive noise or disturbance occurs.

7. Liability & Indemnity
The venue is not liable for any injuries, lost items, or damages incurred during the rental period.
Renters assume full responsibility for their guests and activities held on the premises.

About Kaleido

Kaleido is a flexible event space located at 1550 16th Avenue Block C North in Richmond Hill, Ontario. It has four multi-purpose rooms, a black box theater, a pop-up shop area, a café, and cozy relaxation spots. These spaces are great for meetings, workshops, shows, and social events.

The venue has a large open area that can fit up to 150 people without any pillars in the way, making it easy for everyone to move around. There’s also a café on-site where guests can grab drinks and snacks during events.
