Host rules

• NO flushing paper towel down the toilets.
• NO smoke bombs, glitter, or confetti, including balloon confetti (Subject to fee)
• NO open flame cooking of food or anything that may cause a fire
• NO touching, marking or destroying the fabrics on our projector screen
• NO items which produce strong odours or bad smells
• Air Conditioning can be changed with permission
• Venue is NOT responsible for your food & drinks
• Max Capacity is 100 people and should not exceed 100 people (subject to fee)
• Alcohol is permitted with special occasions permit (SOP) only.
• Alcohol is not allowed to be sold and must be distributed by smart-serve certified bartender
• Parking is free of charge located at the front of the building and next door in our neighboring business
• NO roadside parking or blocking the main street
• NO outside gatherings, loitering or littering, event must remain inside (subject to a forfeit or closing)
• Security is mandatory for maximum capacity events. Please be safe and respectful on our property.

Guests are expected to leave the space in a respectable condition. Clean up is mandatory. You will be charged if your clean up is not appropriate or our venue is deemed trashed. Freedom Venue has no sound restrictions but that does not mean you can produce extreme and damaging sound. Please be respectful as our loudspeakers are capable of producing extreme sound, that can cause ear damage, please advise DJ to be mindful.

Cancellation policy: Standard 30 day with Grace Period

The place was perfect for my baby shower! Place was super clean with easily accessible lighting options and projector. Owner was super easy to communicate to and easy going! Would definitely recommend to anyone that needs a spot to host a party!

Just the right space for my event of 50 people. Very nice and clean space with tons of lighting and sound options. The projector is a nice bonus. Overall, the technology was of good quality. It seems that the venue has the potential to be as simple or as vibrant as you prefer, and that flexibility is good to have. Although there were no stoves/ovens, we brought our own catering and did not need to cook anything, so the refrigerator was enough. We did not need to use the microwave either, but it was nice to have that option available. The venue host was very helpful and understanding. I would be happy to book this venue again should I ever need to host another party in Scarborough.
