Foy House, with its remarkable architecture from 1888 and modern conveniences, presents a variety of spaces to accommodate your requirements.

Our venue offers a versatile and welcoming atmosphere, making it ideal for private or corporate parties, intimate wedding celebrations, refined dining experiences or professional conference setups. We strive to ensure a smooth experience by providing a range of resources and amenities. These include audiovisual equipment, high-speed internet, a dedicated event staff, flexible seating arrangements, catering services, breakout rooms, whiteboards, flip-charts, and printing and copying facilities.

Our first floor includes the Norman Bethune Allen Lounge, the Jill Timmins Lynch Boutique and the Foy Ballroom. The first floor can sit up to 60 guests. The Foy Ballroom offers multiple configurations: theater-style seating, open dance floor or yoga or banquet-style dining. Use first-floor lounges for additional breakout rooms or conversation space.

Please be aware that although Foy House boasts a unique and enchanting ambiance, it's important to note that the venue is not accessible to individuals who require barrier-free access due to several stairs leading to the front door.

I recently had the pleasure of hosting my 50th birthday at Foy House in downtown Toronto, and I can't recommend this venue enough! This stunning mansion, built in 1888, offers a unique and elegant setting for any special occasion. From the moment I first contacted Georgia, the experience was seamless. Georgia was not only incredibly friendly and responsive, but her deep knowledge of the house's history truly set the experience apart. She gave us an extensive and fascinating tour of the space, sharing details about the mansion's rich past that added so much character and charm to the event. It's clear that she is passionate about the home, and her insights really brought the venue to life. The space itself is absolutely breathtaking. The architecture and design of Foy House provide an unforgettable backdrop for any event, and all of our guests were absolutely wowed by its beauty. It’s the perfect balance of historical grandeur and modern functionality, making it ideal for a medium-sized gathering. Thanks to Georgia’s expertise and the stunning ambiance of Foy House, my 50th birthday celebration was truly one for the record books. If you’re looking for a unique, beautiful venue in downtown Toronto, I highly recommend Foy House. It’s the perfect place to create lasting memories!

Georgia was kind and accommodating. From the beginning to the very end she had been extremely helpful. Venue itself is very beautiful. Good enough size to host 50 people. I booked two floors. Venue provided everything as mentioned like water to drink and beautiful stemware, dishes, cutlery and serving trays that was required.

Whether you're planning a corporate function, photo shoot, seminar, or special celebration, our spaces can be tailored to suit your unique vision.

Built in 1888 by architects Langley & Burke, Foy House features beautiful wood panelling, a grand carved staircase, high ceilings, romanesque arches, original mantels, and stunning stained glass. James J. Foy, then Attorney General of Ontario, and his wife, Marie Couvier, designed the space for hosting Toronto's most distinguished Victorian guests, and we are pleased to revive their tradition.

It is my goal to keep the mansion as green as possible, so we offer china, silverware, glassware, and serving utensils at no additional cost. We will recycle and compost what you leave behind, and we take care of the cleaning! A small front parking lot offers free parking for about 6 cars. Wifi is available and included.

Modern amenities include washrooms on all floors, a kitchen with small appliances, knives, cutting boards, fridge, and a preparation island.

For those looking for seminar or classroom space, we are well stocked with stationery, printers, and a wide selection of office supplies: tape, scissors, 3-hole punches, binders, clip boards, etc. A projector and screen are available on the first floor.

Although we have hosted a number of murder mysteries, seances, and magic shows, we have not encountered any malicious ghosts. Foy House is perpetually filled with joyful spirits, and we would be delighted to offer a space to bring your imagination to life!
