Hero’s Welcome is a community-focused pub located at 3917 Main Street in Vancouver, which for over 70 years has been home to the Local 298 Taurus Club.

Hero's Welcome captures the energy of the post-war Canadian Veterans Club by bringing it into a modern setting and aims to create an open and inviting space for all - just remember, leave your hats at home!

We offer affordably priced drinks, food that focuses on local producers, and an assortment of bar games such as pinball, darts, pool tables and skeeball along with plenty of TV screens to catch sporting/televised events.

Whether you’re looking to host an intimate gathering in the Taurus Room (private room complete with full karaoke setup) or book out the entire venue, we look forward to working with you to execute a tailor-made event that fits your needs and your budget!

What is the cancellation and refund policy at Hero's Welcome?

Cancellations 7 days in advance will receive a full refund.

Cancellations 7 days to 24 hours in advance will receive a 50% refund.

Cancellations for events starting within 24 hours are non-refundable.

Event date of a confirmed booking can be changed to another date within 1 months from the original date, at no cost.
