If I could rate this venue 10 stars I would. I planned a surprise 40th birthday party for my husband from NYC. The team was so responsive knowing that I was planning this from afar and based on the level of communication and detail in responses I was confident everything would be great. The staff was incredible, the drinks were great, the food was terrific and the space was perfect. Being able to rent the entire pub and play our own spotify playlist was the real winner . Also for those looking for a wheelchair accessible spot this one is it! No issues whatsoever with getting around the place and having a handcap bathroom.

Booked The Downstairs Cocktail Bar at LOCKES Bar Covent Garden
We had exclusive use of the downstairs bar for a birthday party. Everything went according to plan - it’s a great space for 30/40 comfortably. The service was excellent, the cocktails were mean, and the pizza was cleverly served and delicious.

I hired The Blue Lion for my 30th birthday party - Cheryl, the owner, and Maria the assistant manager couldn't have been more lovely, helpful and accommodating both in the arrangement of the event and on the night itself. The space is lovely with room for people to sit and chat, dance and play pool - it's also brilliant value for money and you can stay later than at many other venues I looked at (we had to leave by 1.20pm).

Fantastic venue and everything well organised for a great night. Can’t thank staff enough. Like being in your favourite boozer with all your mates around. Great location for anyone coming from all parts London/country. Pub caters to everyone, quiet areas to sit in, places to bop, outside for smokers. If I have occasion to have another party for that number if people will def come back there.
