Your Guide to Hiring Award Ceremony Venues in London

Organising an award ceremony in London isn’t a piece of cake. There are countless things to consider: the size of the guest list, the catering requirements, the schedule, the key speakers, the date… and, most importantly, the award ceremony venue. It’s no secret that the setting helps to create the event’s special atmosphere. At Tagvenue we’re experts when it comes to unique award ceremony venues in London. Try our London venue-finding service and see how quick and easy booking the perfect space can be.

Setting up an award ceremony in London – tips and tricks:

  • The style. Perhaps you’re looking for a historical place with a posh vibe in central London for your company’s annual general meeting, or maybe you’re after a converted warehouse in Brixton for independent film awards? The most important thing is to find an event venue that suits the type of award ceremony you’re having. With Tagvenue it’s easy as 1-2-3.

  • Beauty and functionality. Obviously, you’ll want something stunning for your big gala night, but there’s more to an award ceremony venue than just its looks. Make sure the venue’s A/V system is suitable for your needs. Also, think about the seating layout. The best one will depend on the number of guests and the design of the award ceremony space. Last but not least, check whether the venue has disabled access.

  • Location. Chic Chelsea, marvellous Mayfair, striking Shoreditch or maybe something off the beaten path? No matter which part of London you prefer for your award ceremony, make sure the transport links and parking facilities are convenient for your guests.

Booked Event Space at St John's Hyde Park
4.7
The venue is stunning, and communication was excellent throughout. Although we had to remove the swimsuit segment of our show at the last minute, the venue worked hard to accommodate and compromise in other areas. Andrejs was incredibly helpful, and the Vicar was an absolute delight, such a lovely gentleman. The venue charges for staff per 80 guests, starting from setup time, but the hourly rate is good value overall. We had a positive experience and plan to use the venue for our smaller pre-launch events.

The Venue was lovely, very clean, and a great working environment. Their rooms were clean, and refreshments were already laid our for us when we got there. The location of the venue was great, it was a nice area and the staff on the ground floor were very helpful and accommodating. Our first greeting in landmark was very good, a girl on the front desk showed us to our room and our banners for the meeting were already in the room waiting for us. The communication with the venue on TagVenue was also very good. Augustyna was amazing all day, she was on hand to help with all issues that arose and she was very accommodating to all questions, she was very understanding, and her hard work was recognised and appreciated by all of our guests.

Hi Paul, Wow! It was an excellent modern looking event space, making planning and organising somewhat easy. It had very good acoustics which was perfect for our presentations and performances. The sound quality was crispy clear. Nathan the manager on the day was incredibly helpful and accommodating. He made sure all our needs were met and our event ran smoothly. I couldn't have asked for more. Will recommend it anyone all day long. Thank you to the whole team.

Booked The London Ellipse Hall at London Museum Spaces
5.0
Simply put, our guests were amazed with how our awards event looked and senior management couldn't believe that it was put on for the price that it was. From start to finish, the museum was helpful, provided extra things for our event and answered all of our questions and allowed multiple site visits. The AV support was superb. We had different tracks when guests came up and the winner's names flashed on the Ellipse. The lighting was fantastic and really made our event. I don't think our event would have looked as good if it was anywhere else. I thoroughly recommend using Musuem of London because of the incredible level of service and quality finish for our event.

Thanks to the team at Traitor's Gate for a corporate social evening, who made it a very special event for us all. The food was excellent, something for everyone, the beetroot burgers were especially a hit! Cori gave us lots of options for buffet food packages, and communication before the event was fantastic. We were able to organize everything, from timings to floorplan in a short amount of time. Thank you for looking after us all so well, ensuring that we had everything we might need and more. It was very helpful and the attention to detail made everyone feel welcomed, for example providing a dog bowl or making sure the music was to everyone's taste etc. We will for sure keep this venue in mind for our future events!

Lovely staff- so accommodating and responsive throughout the organising process and really reasonably priced. The room itself is nice- the fairy lights are a nice touch and it was good to have a projector too. The food was lovely and in good portions- everyone liked it! I would definitely chose to host something at the draft house again!

Amazing venue, value for money and options to add to the experience (e.g. manned bar throughout event, manned cloakroom, registration area with welcome drinks). The food was of a high standard and fresh scones were amazing!
