The owner was very accommodating and helpful from start to finish. He allowed me to view the venue beforehand, answered all my questions, and assured me everything would run smoothly on the day – and it truly did! The venue itself was fantastic, and my guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The staff on the night were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. Andrew was also present throughout the evening, ensuring everything was going well and that my guests and I were having a great time. I appreciated his hands-on approach and his efforts to make the event stress-free. I loved that we were allowed to bring our own cake without any additional fees, which was a lovely touch. The DJ booth was excellent, and everything ran smoothly, ensuring the night was filled with great music and vibes. Many of my friends commented on how much they liked the venue, with some even enquiring about hiring it for their own events. All in all, The Alaska Waterloo is a brilliant venue with amazing value for money, an incredible team, and an owner who genuinely cares about creating memorable experiences for his clients. We had a real problem with the external caterers and Joshua went out of his way to save the day for me - collecting items at the last minute. He and his team worked tirelessly to ensure we had an unforgettable event. I cannot rate him highly enough! He was hands-on and so kind and respectful to me and my family. The venue has also recently been extended, which was an added bonus for me to accommodate my guests. Fantastic Joshua - highly recommend!

It was honestly an amazing party, all my guests enjoyed it and the space was really fun and cute. I would honestly recommend the cleaning fee as that actually saved out life and we didn’t have to do much at the end of the party. The pace is really cute and you don’t have to decorate it like at all!! I would book this venue again for a party!

Brilliant. Brilliant. Brilliant. I had the most amazing time thank you to all the staff at Bar Soho especially Mia, Rashan and Ashley. Any issue we had which was few was resolved swiftly, staff were absolutely lovely had the best time ever. Gio at the bar was amazing. I hosted my graduation dinner for 90 guests at the Westminster Boating Based on 20th July 2019. It was truly a magical day. One of many reasons I chose this venue was because it had a lot of natural lighting but on the event day the team exceeded my expectations with the service. The catering staff were extremely professional and attentive with all my guests. My guests loved the canapes, there was a continuous flow of canapes for the reception and the guests loved the terrace where they were able to chat and enjoy the fabulous view. The event team and Cherie the lead Manager were open to so many of my ideas, I had a harpist play music during reception and dinner, Zumba instructor for the disco, 2019 balloons and other decors that I wanted to add. The dinner food was absolutely delicious and I was able to do a food tasting months before hand. Drinks were flowing aswell. The Maestro was a great addition to the event, it helped to provide order and inform guests of where they should go. The DJ is very dynamic, he mixed up the songs and got everyone on the dance floor. Overall, the team are extremely experienced and flexible. I would highly recommend this venue for all and any event.

Great very central location! The dialogue with the Marquis Cornwallis was very straight forward and they catered to all our small requests. The menu was priced very competitively for London standards with plenty of choice and flexibility for special dietary requirements. The food was delicious and especially the typical hearty British pub dishes and desserts were delicious. The staff was extremely friendly as well!
