If you choose one of these wedding spaces, you'll be able to have an amazing reception without breaking the bank. Another option is to choose a venue that doesn't require any decorations or other fancy additions. For example, many hotel offers chairs and tables included with their packages so that couples don't have to worry about renting these items separately (which can escalate the price quickly). You could also consider hiring a DJ instead of having live music at your wedding reception - DJs are often cheaper than bands and still provide great entertainment! One of the best ways to save some money is to plan ahead and shop around for deals (for example, on dresses and suits).

When should I book a hotel wedding venue in London?

Start as early as possible, ideally over a year before your desired wedding date, to secure your chosen hotel wedding space and vendors. London's peak wedding seasons run from May to September,  so booking well in advance is necessary, especially if you have a specific venue in mind. If it's possible, consider off-peak times like Winter months for potential cost savings and more availability.

Weekday weddings can also offer more flexibility and potentially lower costs compared to popular Saturday bookings. Try to be open to alternative dates or seasons if your first choice isn't available.

I recently got married at The Chesterfield and we are so glad we booked our big day at this hotel. Kornelia was a pleasure to deal with in the planning stages and was always available to answer questions and offer advice. We had a small wedding ceremony (20 people) in The Library followed by delicious dining in The Conservatory. The day itself was simply amazing and all the staff (too many to mention!) offered a top-class service from start to finish. I would highly recommend The Chesterfield Hotel as a wedding venue. Everything. A massive shout out to Sephora who took over from Anissa one month before the wedding. She is one the most organised people we have met. She was up to date with our wedding plans very quickly and advised best way to go forward. Always available to answer questions and give feedback. Took a very stressful job and made it look easy.. Relaxing us both before our big day. Even on the day stayed and went above and beyond organising the flow of the day. Our photo machine failed to work on arrival right in the middle of the cocktail hour. Also the person hired to be with the photo machine didn't turn up. Sephora quickly got the situation under control and some how managed to get the machine to work. So many beautiful photos where created because of this. We can't thank her enough for her help before during and after the wedding. She is an asset to Sofitel as a hotel . Can not speak any highly of her. Jermaine and Rhianna
