Can you give some tips for finding the ideal party venue?

Sure! Here are our top 5 tips that will definitely help you find the perfect venue in East London!

  1. Set a budget - Take some time to determine how much you can pay for the whole event. Once you nail down the numbers, it’ll be much easier for you to decide if the particular venue falls within your price range.
  2. Make a guest list - Even an estimated number of guests will help you decide if the venue that has caught your eye will accommodate everyone. A comfortable space really is key to a successful event as it will help each of your guests to relax. If you pick a space that is too small, your guests may feel as if they were squashed in like sardines. And we’re more than sure that is something you’d like to avoid!
  3. Determine the party style - A cocktail party, a sit-down dinner or a mix of both? Settling on  a style will give you an idea of what type of space you should look for. And this will make the venue search much easier and quicker!
  4. Consider the location - Make sure that the venue that you book is easily accessible via public transportation and car. Your guests will appreciate the fact that they don’t have to spend hours reaching the venue and will be happier to come.
  5. Compare different offers - Don’t settle for the first offer that you get. Try to send enquiries to at least two venues, so that you can compare the offers and pick the one that works best for your budget.

How far in advance should I book a party venue in East London?

As soon as you can! Generally, we recommend booking your first-choice option around 3 months in advance. This way, you’ll have the guarantee of the best price and you will be able to plan the whole party without any fuss. If you’re planning the party on the spot, you can find great deals up to 2 weeks in advance on our platform.

Booked The Games Room at Heist Bank
4.8
At the weekend we hosted our event at Heist Bank and it went fantastic. When we arrived early to decorate the room was ready and set up for us, they had everything sorted and we were able to use the karaoke and music set ups well. Everything ran very smoothly and when one of our mic's ran out of battery during the karaoke they sorted it very quickly. The finger food we ordered and drink were also very popular! You have to go upstairs to the bar but that wasn't a problem and the service was quick and staff very friendly. Also the room kept out any sound from upstairs! we had a fantastic time and would suggest to anyone wanting to hire the venue to go ahead and do so especially for the hire venue price. It was even better than we could have hoped! thank you for all you help planning Heist Bank!

Would recommend this place for any private event! We hired the space at Fidelio cafe to host an intimate wedding reception for 45 guests and that was the best decision ever! Rafaello responded to our enquiry almost instantly and agreed to meet with us on the same day. The space is magical. Sophisticated, elegant, down to earth, perfect for art & music lovers. The team runs all the events with such professionalism. They are friendly, kind, attentive, helpful and treated our special day as if it was their own! Shout out to Ashley, Predrag and the chef, Matt whose cooking is impeccable. Our guests had such a great time, the evening ran smoothly, it exceeded our expectations and wildest dreams. Thank you so much Fidelio cafe, Rafaello & team! We can't wait to visit you again soon & the wonderful music nights you organise!

I hosted my 25th Birthday Black Tie here and couldn’t recommend enough. The staff here genuinely all want you to have a fantastic time and I felt I was in safe hands. Shannon in particular was super helpful. All my guests had a fantastic time, the venue was just the right size and I had free reign to decorate the room how I wanted. They let me chose on the brightness of the lights in the room and changing the volume of the music, this was super helpful as I didn’t want blaring music all evening. Such a great group of people and thank you for making my Birthday so special

Great space in the games room for a private party - perfect entertainment in the form of projector screen, ability to play own music, N64 and, most fun of all, karaoke. We could have stayed several hours more had it not been for closing time! Very friendly staff too, who were extremely helpful in sorting our technical challenges out throughout the evening. And the pizzas are really excellent! Even the house wine was nice, and I never like house wine. 5 stars all round.

I really enjoyed my birthday at Lost Society! The staff were lovely, and we received great customer service. The day before, I received a phone call from Fru to upgrade us to the bigger VIP area on the raised platform in the main room as they'd moved the other party - which was great!! The area was perfect for our numbers, the music was on point - and we had a brilliant night! Thanks guys!

From the initial contact to the day of the birthday, I was kept in touch with the details. The service was impeccable, on arrival the manager took the cake for cold storage and introduced me to staff who will be with us. The food and drinks came on time. The food was well prepared, presented and tasty. Wow, We even had a private area with our own barman ! Definitely highly recommended and would not hesitate to go back again
