We used Glebelands Private Members Clubs for a 50th Birthday Party. The venue was ideal for the occasion as it’s private. Due to its location no disturbance was caused to the neighbours so we were able to enjoy the music without worry. Partying beyond midnight was a plus and there is numerous parking spaces on site. We did our own catering. However, Ash, Janine and their staff were absolutely brilliant and helpful. I would definitely recommend this venue ( please do not let the exterior of the venue put you off because it’s lovely inside).

Simul Place was an absolute diamond find! For max 100 guests the venue was the perfect size for my private party, you don’t want a huge space as nobody will dance! The venue itself was gorgeous and they cleared the back area for the dance floor, DJ and balloon wall. I pre-ordered food for the party, pizzas and wings, which went down a treat. Communication was great in the lead up to the party, the staff were all friendly and professional, the drinks were quick and flowing and everyone had a great time! I would highly recommend this venue and would happily book again. Thank you Simul Place team for smashing my birthday party!

Honestly, no words can describe this place! We had our engagement party there and we booked their back room, the manager and the team are super friendly, attentive and caring! Their pizzas were top notch! The manager even created a heart shaped pizza for us and it was the most touching thing ever! Though they didn’t have speakers or a door in the back room, but we made it work and everyone from our party lovedddd everything about the place! Thank you to the team for making our party extra special with your services. HIGHLYYYYY recommend for future events!

We came to the glasshouse and hired the gazebo for my daughters 18th and husbands 50th birthday party. It was a lovely evening from start to finish. The staff were so accommodating and helpful. They gave us the glass room area as well as outside so we could have the food in there and the heaters were great in the garden as they kept people warm. The venue looks so pretty at night and they accommodated our every wish, including margaritas! Would 100% recommend hiring this venue for a party. Thank you glasshouse staff. Holly was incredibly warm and welcoming during my initial visit, providing detailed information about everything the venue could offer for my birthday. On the day of the event, Luca and the entire team were attentive, making sure all our guests were well cared for. I had a fantastic time celebrating my 19th birthday with my friends. Many of my friends expressed how much fun they had and how much they liked the venue. Below is a list of things I was very pleased with: 1. Staff. Nicoleta and Amy did an incredible job responding to my questions and requests quickly and comprehensively and they double-checked all the important details with me beforehand, which I really appreciated. The bartenders and the bouncer were also really friendly, polite and kind. 2. Cleanliness. Everything in the venue, including the bathrooms, were very clean (save the trestle table; see below). 3. Furniture & lighting. The couches and stools were comfortable and the smaller tables were a perfect size. The lighting in the room (red) was somewhat dim but fit the vibe perfectly. I also liked that there were a few mirrors in the room. 4. Value for money. The drinks packages for parties and the happy hour cocktail deals meant it was very good value for money, especially for such a central location near so many transport options. Also, they have very creative and interesting ways of serving cocktails and shots with cups and bats. 5. Amenities - garden & music. The bar has a little garden for a breath of fresh air which my friends appreciated. Also, the speaker can connect to your phone through bluetooth and not necessarily an aux cable. Even when our music was switched off, we could not hear the music playing in the main section of the bar. Overall, my party was virtually hiccup-free and I would definitely book with Simmons (if not this very bar on Liverpool Street) for future parties!

My 40th birthday party was made ten times more special than it would have been otherwise by the team at The Oxford Market. From Craig, with whom I liaised during the booking process, to the effortlessly professional, kind, considerate, fun and efficient staff on the night who made sure everything went smoothly and my guests had a night to remember, everyone went the extra mile to be of assistance and help everyone have fun. The basement bar/club is a fabulous party venue with huge heart and real class and I had endless compliments about it, the food and the staff passed on to me on the night and afterwards, as well as a number who are now considering it for their own events. I cannot praise The Oxford Market team highly enough.

Jenine, the Manager and her staff were all very helpful beforehand, around during the party but without imposing and on hand to direct while we were clearing up. The venue space downstairs is very good with 2 side rooms available - one to store the tables/chairs and another room with a 2-seater settee and armchair which came in very handy for the adults to sit while the teenagers dance. There is a small kitchenette with a microwave to heat up food, dishwasher and sink area. Security Staff attached to the Pop Brixton venue are also on hand to ensure that the general public did not gatecrash our party. The location is excellent with the tube 5mins walk, the train 3mins and buses from all directions on the main and side roads. Good parking available at the side of the venue. If you don't want/need to provide food at your event then guests have access to all the different small restaurants within the Pop Brixton complex. Toilets available for guests usage.
