This charming venue comfortably sleeps 6-9 guests across three cozy bedrooms and is nestled within its own private garden. Featuring a wood-burning stove and a delightful sunroom, the space invites relaxation and warmth. You can enjoy the secluded patio, where you can unwind while children play freely in the expansive garden. A wood-fired hot tub adds a touch of luxury for those evenings under the stars.

Originally the cottage for the gardener of the historic Grangemuir Estate, this lovely retreat is situated to the north of a stunning red brick Victorian wall that encloses the 2-acre walled garden of Madeira, offering a serene and picturesque setting for your stay.

The cottage has 3 bedrooms which allow flexibility for families and groups. There are two super king sized double/twin rooms, one of which is en-suite, and a room with a triple bed i.e. a double with a single bunk above. The sofa in the sitting room is a comfortable king-sized sofa bed. There are bed spaces for 7 individuals or 9 if beds are shared. In addition to the en-suite, there is a refurbished family bathroom with shower.

The kitchen area is large and very well equipped, and the living area has a large table and chairs, comfortable sofas and a new wood burning stove.

There is also a sunroom with seating to watch the sun go down or look at the wildlife in the garden and around the neighboring stream.

The secluded patio area at the back of the cottage with a table and chairs makes a perfect BBQ or pizza making area. There is also a wood fired hot tub for exclusive use of guests in the Gardeners Cottage which sits 6 comfortably. The garden has rope swings suitable for all ages, and there is a path leading from the cottage to our ‘fairy post’ box and further areas for kids to play. The lawn out front can be used for games.

There is a small stream at the bottom of the garden so small children need to be supervised when in this part of the garden.
