Host rules

The clients shall be responsible for the orderly conduct of their delegates and shall ensure that their delegates have regard to any regulations imposed by any competent authority and that nothing shall be done which will constitute a breach of the law. The client shall fully indemnify ABDO and the venue against any claims, or loss or damage arising as a result of breach of this clause.
Prior written approval must be obtained if you wish to fix items to the walls, floors or ceilings. ABDO will hold the client responsible for any damage caused through negligence by the client, the client’s guests or the client’s contractors. An inspection of the premises before and after the event may be requested by contacting the ABDO Duty Manager.
Where any facilities or services are booked, ABDO will not be liable to make any refunds shall the delegates fail or refuse to use them for whatever reason and full payment must be made.
Where ABDO is required to book facilities and /or services on behalf of its clients or their delegates with third parties, it will do so in good faith but cannot be held liable should the standard of those services prove deficient, nor for the acts or omissions of such third parties.
Only food and beverage purchased from ABDO at the venue may be consumed on the premises. If food or beverages are brought into the venue for consumption, a charge will be made equal to ABDO’s selling price for that or an equivalent product, which shall be in the absolute determination of ABDO and the venue.
Any special dietary requirements should be notified to ABDO at least 10 working days prior to the event start date.
For the avoidance of doubt, alcohol is not allowed to be on the premises at any time and must not be consumed on the premises. Smoking, both inside the building and on the patio area outside on floor 5 is strictly prohibited. Smoking is only permitted outside of the building in the designated area.

The National Resource Centre can be used in a multitude of ways as we have the scope to make our rooms as versatile as possible.

The main area on Floor 4 of the venue can host 160 people in one sitting in many different set ups this space can also be broken down with our soundproof walls between rooms. Each room taking between 15-60 delegates depending on layout. We also have 4 smaller meetings rooms that are suitable for between 8-15 delegates. There is a 5th floor facility that can hold 50 people in various layouts.

Each room has AV, flip chart, tea and coffee making facilities. All of our rooms have Audio visual either through smart screen TV in our main areas or projectors in our smaller rooms. With the option to record and film your meetings, lectures and also provide roaming mics, lectern mics and lapel mics. There is also flip chart paper and pens in every room. We also have super fast broadband across the whole of the building, the use of Zoom meeting, go to meeting, and conference calls.

There is also free onsite parking for up to 40 cars.
