We also offer a full venue hire, which consists of our indoor bar area, snug & our courtyard which also has its own bar. Our full venue is perfect for birthday parties, and engagement parties but can work for many different special events.
We are located off the beaten track in the Jewellery Quarter, a stunning historic pub decorated very modernly - the courtyard consists of tables, chairs, plants, a music system, a television & its own bar. The venue flows nicely with 2 doors, a walkway leading to the toilets & the courtyard.
The bar is situated in the centre of the venue with sofas running along the left & right sides of the bar. We also have a snug area that works perfectly for laying out the food.
With hiring out the venue we offer buffet-style catering all done in-house, we use the snug area to lay the food out & allow the guests to pick their food themselves - we are very open to catering options, and we have done many different menus bespoke to each party.
We also can offer drinks packages so that guests can have arrival drinks, and drinks stations - again we are very open to discussion to create bespoke packages for each event.

About Temper and Brown
We are a small, quirky independent venue located in the Jewellery Quarter. Our interior is both in keeping with a traditional pub and incorporating the amazing period details of the space, whilst also being modern, vibrant and fun. The colourful wallpaper, leather seating, and beautiful tiled bar all make us a chic but relaxed setting.
We have a courtyard that is also unique with a lovely forest backdrop and quirky paintings across our brick walls. An outdoor bar, with half covered & half open space which is perfect for every season.
Our approach to being part of a better world - We use local suppliers that source where possible, produce within the British Isles. Reducing the impact on our planet. Renewable electricity fuels our induction cooking suite & heating system with no fossil fuels used at all. The kitchen at Temper and Brown is all about serving high-quality food with a focus on sustainability.
For each event we create a bespoke package to suit your needs perfectly. We offer a buffet style menu which is perfect for sharing, grazing & socialising with friends. We are very open minded, we do what we can to make your event as perfect as possible, whether this be food choices / drinks or more specific needs.
