Host rules
- No smoking in the building.
- The rooms hired will be available only the dates and times booked. The hirer is not entitled to enter the premises at other times.
- The Trustees or their employees have right of entry to the premises at any time.
- All rooms should be tidy after use. Where significant extra cleaning is required, this will be charged to the hirer.
- If the building is used by any hirer more than 4 times a year, the hirer will provide a copy of their public liability insurance to the Trustees.
- Safeguarding young people and vulnerable adults is a duty of all hirers. Where the hirer does not have a safeguarding policy, then the current church policy will apply (copies available on request).
- The hirer shall not do any act or thing on the Premises which shall invalidate the insurance of Bolton Methodist Mission.
- If a Hirer uses the box office for ticket sales The Victoria Hall is obliged to take 10% of all tickets sold through the box office and to charge a fee to the hirer for bulk printing of tickets this price is at the Victoria Hall’s Event coordinators discussion
- The box office is to be staffed by a representative of the Victoria hall and not the hirer the takings of such events will be stored and banked through the Victoria hall's account and a cheque will be sent within 7 days post the event.
- Not exceed the capacity of any room, to ensure all fire doors are kept clear, to keep access clear.
- Not to make any alternations to the room or to use any materials which will damage the fabric of the building. Any damage will be made good and charged to the hirer.
