About The Bull Hotel Dorset

The Bull Hotel is a 16th century coaching inn located in the heart of a historic market town. Built in 1535, it preserves much of its original charm.

An important historical site, it was part of the Trafalgar Way during the Battle of Waterloo. The inn was also visited by Princess Victoria and King George VI.

Today, The Bull is a lovely boutique hotel, boasting one of the area’s finest restaurants and the most stunning wedding venue in town. Licensed for civil ceremonies and available for exclusive hire, it boasts a marvellous Georgian ballroom, private dining room and a charming courtyard.
