On arrival we can offer a drinks reception on the Weather Deck or Promenade Deck. The Weather deck on board Brunel’s SS Great Britain, is dressed as it was for launch in 1843, flying colourful flags and boasting stunning views of the Bristol Harbourside.
The Promenade Deck is where first class passengers would take their afternoon stroll whilst out at sea when the elements did not allow for the weather deck to be used. Flooded with natural daylight, with beautiful skylights and mirrors, this impressive space is perfect for drinks receptions and canapes.
For your seated dinner we can offer the opulent First-Class Dining Saloon. Once admired by Queen Victoria, this impressive dining saloon with marbled pillars and rococo mirrors is a grand setting for fine dining. Seating up to 160 guests in banquet style there is also the provision for speeches with an in-built PA System and area for entertainment.
To close your evening with a bang the Hayward Saloon is the perfect party area, with wooden flooring and bar area.
Guests are also invited to explore the SS Great Britain Ship during your evening, making the most of our unique venue.
