About this space

This huge hall is used for bowls throughout the indoor season. In late March, as the season draws to an end, we board over the bowling rinks and open up this vast space (36m x 9m) to companies and individuals alike. Ideal for conferences, seminars or large meetings, parties, banquets and art exhibitions, this versatile space is great for work or play.

We can cater to your requirements whether it be a buffet or silver service, voulevants or venison, our in house kitchen staff have vast and diverse experience. For corporate clients, we also offer fantastic audiovisual equipment in collaboration with our partners at Venue Audio Visual.

About Cambridge Chesterton Indoor Bowls Club

A vast and truly unique space in central Cambridge. Our bowls arena is one of the largest indoor arenas in East Anglia, with the space and facilities you'd only expect to find at a dedicated exhibition space. With easy access, ample parking, a restaurant, bar and conference room facilities we are the ideal choice for businesses and individuals looking for something a little bit different.
Recently hosted Netflix for the filming of the multi award winning series "The Crown". Also just completed hosting Amazon/MGM studios for the latest Julia Roberts blockbuster "After the Hunt" Due to be released in 2025.

The venue was featured on the BBC "One Show" in the past 12 months.
