When the weather is glorious and the sun is shining (and even when it isn't) what better place to be than a pub garden? We think ours is one of the very best and would happily spend all afternoon soaking up the atmosphere here.
If you're looking for a special occasion, we can rent this space out to you and give you all the privacy of a private room with all the benefits of a beer garden!
Coming very soon, our massive new all weather garden complete with giant TVs! Opening for The Six Nations in February, the large retractable roof makes it suitable for the Welsh climate all year round.

About The Pontcanna Inn
The Pontcanna Inn is ideally located on Cathedral Road, close to Sophia Gardens and a short walk from the University, Castle and the SSE SWALEC, the Principality and Cardiff City Stadiums
We offer ten beautiful en-suite boutique-style bedrooms on the upper floors, while downstairs you’ll find a welcoming bar and lounge area plus fantastic terraces to the front and rear of the pub. Our talented chefs serve up a tempting menu of hearty and healthy food and if you are feeling thirsty, we offer an eclectic range of craft beers, real ales, cider, wines, cocktails and spirits. The Pontcanna Inn is the perfect place to watch live sports and we often have a barbecue going outside for you to enjoy. Open for lunch and dinner throughout the week, we also serve brunch on Saturday and Sundays, and top quality Sunday roasts every week.
