About this space

Open plan space, suitable for art groups, photography shoots, rehearsal space, events - spoken word, poetry/book readings. The space has work benches and desks which can be moved to create an open floor.

We have a small stage that can be put up and seating for up to 25 people. We can provide Tea and Coffee facilities, upon request. If you are hosting an event your guest can bring their own alcohol. We are in a semi residential area so closing time would need to be 10:30pm latest. The studio is available from 9:00am.

About Aurelia Art Studios

The studio was once a printing works and is situated in a unit in a residential area very close to public transport links. It has been deliberately left as a relaxed working space. It still has an industrial feel to it with its repurposed water pipes, which are used to hang artwork, and industrial shelving that has been converted into workbenches.

We have a selection of various sized desks and a small stage, making the studio a very versatile space. It can be used for individual artists for all manner of projects. The space is also suitable for preparing for exhibitions, hosting exhibits, group projects, photo shoots, design projects, set design and building, events such as poetry or spoken word readings, teaching small groups, and meetings, among others.

We have designed the space to be light, airy, and quiet. The studio is a work in progress; we will continue to improve and update the space as we grow. Feel free to contact Alex if you would like to view the space or have any questions.
