Seamus was amazing the whole night and really kept everything running smoothly. They kept us informed on the bar tab, helped us with the birthday cake, and made many excellent cocktails as well as being chatty and cheerful all night. A big thank you to them! In terms of the venue itself, it was easy to hang a few decorations. The space suited our purposes really well. The food was nice, the drinks were excellent.
The vegan food wasn’t obviously labelled in all cases, which I had specifically asked for beforehand. There was a selection on the bar that was all vegan which was helpful, but the other things were only differentiated as being vegan by having a piece of brown paper under them, and I wasn’t told this so had to ask and let then people know, by which point a lot of the vegan stuff had been eaten by other people so that wasn’t so good for those with dietary requirements. One of the guests ordered a meal because they couldn’t find anything suitable.
