About this space

The Silk Mill in the centre of Frome & close to St John’s C of E Church hosts weddings as well as arts & music events. Our natural light gallery & south-west facing courtyard is suitable for couples seeking a bespoke, approach that allows creative freedom.

Our seated capacity is 100 & we have full disabled access. Without furniture we can accommodate 200. We have a large outside terrace with two areas which are covered from May to the end of October which are also suitable to hold weddings.

PLEASE NOTE that the prices quoted are not per day but for the whole period you have the space £2,500 if Thursday to Mon morning or £1,500 if Monday to Wednesday.

About Silk Mill Studios & Gallery

Lovely Victorian mill in Frome, Somerset with 22 artists' studios & gallery.

Silk Mill Studios & Gallery is a great location for exhibitions, weddings, film/photo shoots & music events.

Silk Mill Studios and Gallery operates from one of the best preserved former textile mills anywhere in the south-west. We launched in May 2008 and have exhibitions, concerts, workshops and a multitude of other events. If you would like to visit the studios please either contact us or one of the tenants who will arrange a visit for you. The studios are open to the public during Frome Festival and other Open Studio dates.
