About The Savings Bank
The Savings Bank, located at 67 Bridge St in Glasgow’s Laurieston area, just south of the Clyde and a short distance from the city centre, is a venue rich in history and character. Originally built in 1889 as a savings bank for Glasgow’s working class, it later served as a Greek restaurant and a poker den before being transformed into a distinctive hall that reflects its storied past.
Ideal for weddings, birthday parties, functions, receptions, concerts, filming projects, and more, the venue provides a unique and versatile space suited to a variety of events and gatherings.
