Meeting Space at Destiny Church Shawlands

The Lessee will be responsible during the course of the Let for following things:

- Responsible that those using the facilities do not gain access to other areas of the church premises not forming part of this let.
- Leave the premises used by them in a neat and tidy condition - particularly the kitchen, changing and shower areas and ensure no blue tack is used on walls.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with the Church’s Fire Safety Procedures relating to the premises
- Ensure that Food Safety Regulations are adhered to if food is prepared, brought in and served.
- Child Protection Legislation

Liability:

- Organisations using Destiny Church premises should recognise their responsibilities in relation to public liability insurance in the event of such injury or loss. As a non-Destiny group if you have an incident, our insurance will not cover you. We strongly recommend that you have your own appropriate insurance.
- The Church will not accept liability for any damage to, or loss of, any property brought to, or left in, the premises arising out of the let. In the event of any claim being made against the Church, by anyone claiming injury or loss arising out of the let, the Organisation will take over and indemnify the Church against such a claim
- Any damage caused, of any sort, must be reported the Church immediately the damage is identified. The Lessee will be responsible for the cost of reinstating the affected area/item

- Drugs, smoking, glue-sniffing, gambling and the like are prohibited in or on the premises
- An additional charge may be levied by the Church if the premises are left in an unsatisfactory manner
- No smoking is permitted on the premises.
- The caretaker or a trained key holder must be present at all times during any let
