About this space
The capacity ranges from 50 to 150 people, so the King Arthur Hotel can host small and large weddings. ‘I-do’ occasions can be hosted in Avalon, a spacious room that can welcome as many as 140 people. Here, chairs may be arranged for invitees to sit as the happy couple take centre stage at the head of the room. Vows can be exchanged as rings are swapped against the backdrop of well-kept gardens and the patio area.
Once the couple has been officially declared as newlyweds, everybody can congratulate them on their milestone. The cocktail hour can take place on the patio. This open-air site offers a space where beverages and al fresco hors d’oeuvres can be savoured ahead of the wedding breakfast and reception. The happy couple can slip away to enjoy photo opportunities around the grounds as everyone enjoys the milestone.
When the time comes for the main meal, the Avalon can be rearranged. Wooden beams, large windows, and wooden features help to create a romantic space that truly comes alive when adorned with wedding decor. Tables and chairs can be set up so that invitees can recline as culinary delights are served. A dance floor is also available, meaning that the newly married pair can enjoy their first dance as everyone watches on.
