About this space
The smaller of our two performance spaces, our Copper Auditorium can hold 113 seated or 100 standing with the option of additional balcony seating. The venue is fitted with a cinematic projector and screen capable of delivering professional standard film screenings and annually hosts the Halifax leg of the British Urban Film Festival.

Square Chapel Arts Centre is located in the heart of Halifax town centre, next door to The Piece Hall and opposite the train station.
We have two disabled parking bays at the front of the building just outside The Piece Hall south gate. These spaces are for Square Chapel customers and need to be booked in advance and you must display your blue badge.
