The largest of our performance spaces, our Red Brick Auditorium can seat 250 and hold 500 standing. Housed in the original 1772 Georgian chapel, the venue can be hired for both promoted shows with full PA and lighting rig included as standard and private events.

About Square Chapel Arts Centre

Square Chapel Arts Centre is located in the heart of Halifax town centre, next door to The Piece Hall and opposite the train station.

We have two disabled parking bays at the front of the building just outside The Piece Hall south gate. These spaces are for Square Chapel customers and need to be booked in advance and you must display your blue badge.
