Hire Costs: Daytime bookings include exclusivity to the lower clubhouse only as members will still have access to the upper clubhouse. Evening bookings are exclusive to both the upper and lower clubhouse. Please note the lower clubhouse does not have heating, so it can get quite cold in the winter months Our cost is £40 per hour with a minimum of 3 hours per booking. £55 per hour includes access to our bar with two bar staff. We are unable to accept bookings for Friday evenings.

CARISBROOKE LAWN TENNIS CLUB LIMITED (“the Club”)
KENWOOD ROAD, LEICESTER, LE2 3PF (“the Premises”)

The following pages detail the legal agreement for hiring the clubhouse. All bookings are subject to these Conditions of Hire, and a booking form must be completed and signed to confirm agreement to these terms.

Maximum Occupancy
The maximum occupancy capacity for the clubhouse is 100 people.

Alcohol
It is illegal for individuals under 18 to drink or purchase alcohol on the Premises.
Violations may result in prosecution of staff or Committee members and could lead to the loss of the Club’s alcohol licence.
The Club reserves the right to request proof of age from anyone drinking or buying alcohol on the Premises.
Personal Items
The Club accepts no responsibility for liability, loss, claim, damage, cost, expense, or injury resulting from items left on the Premises or in vehicles in the car park.
All personal items or property are left entirely at the owner's risk.
General Disclaimer
The Club is not responsible for any liability, loss, claim, damage, cost, expense, or injury occurring on the Premises, except for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Club or its representatives.

Indemnity Clause
The Hirer agrees to indemnify the Club for all liabilities, costs, and expenses incurred due to any act or omission by the Hirer during the hire period.

Conditions of Hire
Any disbursements related to the hire (e.g., special licences) will be borne by the Hirer.
The Premises may only be used for the purpose described in the Hire Declaration.
Children must be supervised at all times.
If the event occurs during tennis matches, attendees must adhere to tennis etiquette to avoid disruption.

About Carisbrooke Tennis Club

Carisbrooke is one of Leicestershire’s largest tennis clubs with the highest number of teams in the county – men’s, ladies’, mixed, juniors, and seniors. However, even though we are large in numbers, the atmosphere at the club is that of a small friendly members club where everyone is welcome.

Carisbrooke’s fabulous clubhouse isn’t just about relaxing after a tough game. It’s an attractive, flexible venue that can host up to 100 people for birthday parties, wedding anniversaries, and any other social functions.
