About Dovedale Towers
Dovedale Towers is a Liverpool gem with a rich history. Built in 1860 on the iconic Penny Lane, it's closely tied to Beatles lore—Paul McCartney sang here with his local church choir and later with John Lennon as The Quarrymen. In 1969, Freddie Mercury lived here while joining Ibex, the band that would eventually become Queen.
Today, it's more than a historic site. The upper floors offer blank spaces perfect for creatives—ideal for photoshoots, art displays, or unique events. The beer garden seats up to 180 people and has power points for your tech needs. There's also ample parking for up to 30 cars, plus space for lorries and catering trucks.
Located in leafy Mossley Hill, Dovedale Towers is surrounded by Liverpool’s finest parks, Calderstones and Sefton. It's just a short stroll to Allerton Road, filled with cafes, shops, and restaurants. Whether you're into history, creative endeavors, or just want a pint in a charming garden, Dovedale Towers is the place to be.
