Set on the first floor of our beautifully renovated, Grade II listed building, the Stanley Suite is named after Sir William Massey Stanley who built the hotel in 1846. The Eastham Ferry Hotel’s function room offers an inviting blend of historic charm and modern comfort. Nestled on the outskirts of the picturesque 100-acre Eastham Country Park, the space boasts stunning views of the River Mersey and tranquil woodlands. Accommodating up to 90 guests, the room features a private bar and space for a small stage, making it ideal for both private celebrations and corporate events.

We offer a variety of banqueting options, including buffet, canapé, or a more formal five-course meal, ensuring a personalized experience for every occasion. This versatile space, rich in character, is designed to create lasting memories in a truly special setting.

Event offers and packages

A package per person can include a £250 room hire that includes tea and coffees, plus our buffet options start from £12.95 per person. We are also very flexible and can cater to specific allergens, intolerances and needs.

Nestled on the outskirts of the historic Eastham country park, The Eastham Ferry Hotel is cherished by locals and sits on a site of historical interest. Whilst the Eastham Ferry Hotel felt grand in stature, it catered for many. More recently, prior to its closure 2 years ago, nearby residents created fond memories through weddings, celebrations and coming together for family moments.

Our vision was clear: to restore The Eastham Ferry Hotel to its former glory, creating a timeless and elegant gastropub where elevated British cuisine is enjoyed at affordable prices. We’ve brought the function room back to life, so you can once again experience The Eastham Ferry Hotel as the true heart of our community.

With a perfect blend of tradition and modern flair, we offer a Mediterranean-inspired tapas menu alongside our classic British all-day menu. Instead of ballroom entertainment, we’ll host comedy nights and live music, providing the perfect setting for the community to come together and connect.

Our drinks menu is designed to perfectly complement our food, featuring wines that pair beautifully with our dishes and craft ales chosen to reflect the tastes of our local community. Our cocktail menu will keep us in step with the latest trends, while our selection of coffee and tea reinforces our commitment to being the heart of the community.

We proudly support what our community stands for by partnering with local suppliers and smaller brewers. We extended this ethos to our contractors throughout the restoration process. The interior combines traditional design inspired by the Georgian and Victorian eras with a subtle modern twist, ensuring a blend of comfort, function, and timeless elegance.
