Our Recommendations

The most popular room for weddings is the stunning Main Reception Room. The hanging chandelier, colourful murals and striking features provide the perfect setting for a memorable day and beautiful wedding photography. If you’re looking to truly wow your guests on your special day, this is the perfect option for you.

If you’re after a large space to cater for all of your family and friends, the Great Hall is the ideal choice. This contemporary wedding hall is extremely versatile and can be transformed with theming of your choice, which is coordinated by our Events Team. This area can be used along with the Main Reception Room, as a walkway between the two rooms provide a natural flow from one part of your wedding ceremony to the next.

We want to ensure your wedding is exactly that, your wedding. We will tailor and theme to your taste and requirements. A dedicated events coordinator will dress rooms to your chosen colour scheme and complement your theme. Whichever room you choose, it will be sure to provide a stage for all eyes to be on the bride and groom.

The venue is spectacular and was used for a book launch so very fitting as it’s beautifully decorated. Service, food and drinks all excellent, and any queries answered promptly. Would highly recommend

One Moorgate Place is a beautiful Grade II listed building, packed with original features to impress any guest. We offer high-spec conferencing facilities, modern, spacious meeting rooms and a range of elegant spaces for private dining and events. Whether you are looking to host intimate celebrations, large conferences, professional meetings or banquets, we can offer you a bespoke and unforgettable service to meet your requirements.

The building was designed by Victorian architect Sir John Belcher RA and built in 1890 with many additions made throughout the 20th century. The interior includes works of art by Eduardo Paolozzi, Gerald Benney and John Piper. Our opulent rooms steeped in luxury, heritage and culture are guaranteed to turn heads and have your guests talking way after the event!
