About Porchester Hall
The jewel in the crown of our London portfolio, Porchester Hall’s classic art deco design and timeless elegance make it a sought-after venue for all type of events, including private parties, charity galas, weddings, concerts, fashion shows, exams, conferenes and much more. The elegant 1920s building features add a touch of glamour to proceedings, which probably explains why the venue is favoured for high profile functions and filming.
History
Porchester Hall was opened in 1929 alongside the Turkish Baths and Library on Porchester Road. It provided the Borough of Paddington with a dignified Public Hall intended primarily for use by the residents in the area but its beauty and convenience appealed to a wider circle. The foundation stone was laid by the Mayor Leonard Snell, JP, and this can be found at main entrance to the hall.
