A bright, contemporary multi-purpose space within the BFI Southbank, the Blue Room is a fantastic choice for your next conference, seminar, product launch, reception or networking event and is one of our most popular spaces
The versatile space can accommodate up to 60 for a seated dinner (cabaret style), 100 for a seated event (theatre style), and 250 for a standing reception.
The Blue Room is perfect for events that require presentation capabilities and you will have access to audio-visual equipment as standard in your venue hire price.
The flexible space can be adjusted to suit your needs and has access to a private, permanent bar that is run by our in-house caterers, Benugo, making it well suited for both corporate events and more social team gatherings.
When you hire our venue, you can avail of immense flexibility with branding the space. Our previous clients have visually transformed the physical space to the full extent possible using brand-coordinated lighting effects, poster and digital displays, wraps and vinyling, personalised entrances and a red carpet welcome. The BFI Southbank comprises a number of iconic venues located on a highly desirable riverfront location at London’s Southbank, with excellent connectivity to public transport via Waterloo Station.

The BFI Southbank offers 4 high-spec auditoria. Capacities range from an intimate Studio seating 38 to the 450-seater NFT1 auditorium that offers superb cinema projection, as well as mid-size auditoria seating 125 -138 that offer immensely flexible event spaces.
The auditorium spaces are perfect for hosting conferences, award ceremonies, screenings, company annual general meetings, product launches and project presentation spaces – especially if you are looking for the highest spec of audio-visual presentation – all of which are provided within the hire cost of the space.
We are also home to several versatile and stylish reception spaces, including an elegant restaurant and bar with views of the river Thames, which offer a great social space to host a welcome breakfast for delegates, an evening networking gathering, cocktail reception or staff Christmas gathering.
