About this space

The Academy bar is located on the top floor at Opium and can accommodate up to 50 guests seated or standing. One half is set as an authentic Chinese family lounge area (The Attic), a chic, parlour style room with quirky booths, comfy armchairs and lower “coffee” type tables. The second half of the Academy bar is set as a comfortable carriage full of higher tables and stools leading to innovative Bartender’s Table which is an open-kitchen style bar where you can watch up-close the cocktails making process. Exclusive hire of the Academy bar includes full waiting staff/bartenders and access to the sound system.

About Opium Cocktail & Dim Sum Parlour

Opium is a hidden high end cocktail bar, discreetly situated above Gerrard Street, London's Chinatown. Set in a townhouse, if you can find the Jade Door and follow the staircase, be prepared to be transported back to 1920's Shanghai.

Each of the different bars within Opium can be privately hired as well as the entire venue.
